100 kg ski touring race

100 kg ski touring race

Saturday 15 Mar

Cadipietra (Valle Aurina)

19:30 - 21:00

"Who is strong enough?"

that is the motto of the unique, even crazy ski touring race in Ahrntal. For a change, the focus here is not on light material, but on a whole lot of kilos. Every tourer must weigh at least 100 kg. If it cannot do this with its own weight and the weight of the material, it is loaded with sandbags accordingly. Women must reach 70 kg. "Loaded" in this way, the participants run from the valley station (1,052m) of the Klauberg Ski Arena to the K1 mountain station (1,850m)

Start: Klausberg valley station in Steinhaus (1052 m)
Destination: K1 mountain station - Bachmair Klausberg (1850 m) Altitude difference: 798 m, time limit 2.5 h; Route freely selectable.
