As part of the Badiamusica Festival, a piece of music theatre based on Wolfram von Eschenbach with contemporary texts by André Hinderlich will be performed.
This evening is both a historically informed performance of music, a recital of epics with harp and hurdy-gurdy, and a contemporary performance that examines both medieval and contemporary society. The link is contemporary music and improvisation. Due to the enormous extent of the medieval original, only excerpts from the Eschenbach original are performed with a medieval melody added by Philipp Lamprecht.
