Build your own rocket - workshop

Build your own rocket - workshop

What defines a rocket? Why do rockets fly? What needs to be considered during launch? How do rockets move in the universe? How long will it be before the first tourists fly into space?

Questions upon questions that the Planetarium South Tyrol tries to answer for curious rocket builders at a workshop for children and families. The main focus is on how such a rocket works and what the rebound principle is all about. After all, this is the prerequisite for building a paper rocket that can compete with the competition. But that's not all: after a short break, real rocket fans will make a chemical rocket, which will also be put to the test.

The workshop will be cancelled in case of bad weather.
