Carezza family cycling-hiking day

On 22 September, the Nigerstrasse | Via Nigra at the foot of the magnificent "Rose Garden" (Rosengarten | Catinaccio) will be reserved exclusively for hikers and cyclists from 08.30 am till 4 pm.
During this period of time, the road will be closed for automobiles and motorcycles.

The cableways from Welschnofen | Nova Levante and Tiers | Tires will take all visitors to the Nigerstraße | Via Nigra. At the same time, inns and refreshment stops along the way will be serving a variety of culinary delicacies.

A horse-drawn carriage runs every half hour from 10 am to 4 pm between Malga Franzin Alm and Malga Frommer Alm.

E-bikes can be hired from the local bike rentals on reservation and for a fee.

Outdoor kitchen at the Tschein restaurant & "Krapfen" (doughnut) and "Zwetschgenknödel" (plum dumplings) on the terrace of the Malga Franzin Alm (in the afternoon).

At the same time, families can take advantage of the Carezza Family Sunday.
All families (2 adults and 2 children) have unlimited rides on all 6 summer mountain lifts in Carezza for just 44 euros.

HIGHLIGHT: FAMILY CHALLENGE

On Sunday, 22 of September 2024, from 9 am to 3.30 pm, as part of the Family Cycling and Hiking Day, there will be organized a Family Challenge along the Nigerstraße | Via Nigra – an exciting event where families and children can solve exciting games and tricky tasks.

On the route between Malga Frommer Alm and Malga Franzin Alm, various stations will be set up by different local clubs from Welschnofen | Nova Levante along the Nigerstraße | Via Nigra on the car-free Sunday. What awaits you there remains a secret – it could be a game, a puzzle, a quiz, or something related to their club activities. The creativity knows no bounds!

At each station, participants can collect stamps, which will allow them to take part in the final prize draw and win great prizes. MAIN PRIZE: WOOM children's bike (3-4.5 years).

The draw will take place on Monday, 23/09/2024. The winner will then be contacted.
