The violinists Marie-Therese Schwöllinger and Alexandra Moser, the violist Anuschka Cidlinsky and the cellist Oscar Hagen founded the Javus Quartett in 2016. It works with the world's most renowned chamber music professors, such as Gerhard Schulz, Valentin Erben, Rainer Schmidt and Christoph Poppen. Performances with Valentin Erben from the Alban Berg Quartet were a highlight of 2020. On 15 January, the quartet will play highlights of the quartet literature at the Forum Brixen: Mozart's Quartet K. 465, Debussy's Quartet and Dvořák's Quartet op. 96 ‘American’.
