The wind ensemble "Philomousia" was founded in 2005 and has since been performing regularly in variable formations, from trio to extended wind ensemble.
We play classical harmony music, which is ideal music for a balmy summer evening. The repertoire ranges from original works of the pre-classical period to typical arrangements of important operas and symphonies of the late 18th and early 19th centuries for this instrumentation. Othmar Trenner presided over the ensemble from 2013 to 2022, and Manfred Egger took over in 2023.
