Dumpling festival in St. Johann

The 42nd St. Johann Dumpling Festival provides a culinary feast of 26,000 dumplings in 22 recipe variations along a 595-meter long table. Buckle up and enjoy the ride at this amazing Festival.

The 42nd Dumpling Festival on Saturday, September 21, 2024, is celebrated at the world’s longest dumpling table in St. Johann and will be a truly unforgettable day for the event-goers in attendance. The 595-meter long table will run along Speckbacherstraße Street in St. Johann in a colorful celebration. Try a plethora of 22 different dumpling dishes made by 17 local restaurants at the Dumpling Festival in St. Johann.

The dumplings would be enough to satisfy the hungry crowd, but the free entertainment will keep everybody at the festival long after appetites are sated. The Dumpling Festival is kicked-off Friday, September 20, 2024, with a walk to Angerer Alpine Pasture Hut, where festivities start at 11:00am. At 8:00pm, there will be a concert given by St. Johann Brass Band. Saturday’s celebrations will be launched at 11:00am with the marching brass band. On the final day, Sunday, there will be pre-lunch entertainment on the main square with live music by Marc Pircher at 11:00am.
