Opening Day
The first of a total of eight stage races will take place in Merano.
About 100 participating athletes will cover a distance of about five kilometres, which winds through the streets of the city (Rennweg, Karl-Wolf-Straße, Laurinstraße, 4.-November-Straße, Europaallee, Freiheitsstraße) with start and finish on the Theaterplatz.
The "Giro Handbike Italia" is the only stage race for Paralympic athletes in Europe and will be broadcast live on the Sky platform.
