A "Free Folk Jazz" style concert from the Belluno-based group will warm the festively decorated square in Campitello.
Ettore Masin (baritone flugelhorn, saxophone, bagpipes, alphorn), Mario Cavacece (trumpet, shawm), Claudio Dalla Riva (accordion, vocals), Alessandro Zaniolo (percussion, drums), and Sandro Cioffi (trumpet, baritone flugelhorn) make up the Gnuco Alpen Sgnapa Band. The group is well known in the valleys of Veneto and Trentino, thanks to their participation in village festivals and town square celebrations, donning a different costume for each occasion. Their repertoire is described as "Free Folk Jazz", a term coined by the band to indicate the mix of musical styles and genres performed during their concerts. Indeed, they range from Tyrolean and medieval sonatas to cheerful folk compositions, from traditional Christmas melodies to pieces of popular Italian music.
This is a free event. Refreshments with hot drinks will be available.
