Every year in August, a particularly large number of shooting stars flit across the night sky. From 17 July to 24 August, the so-called "Perseids" reach their peak this year. This is also the case on Tuesday, 13 August and the Knottnkino cinema in Vöran is the ideal place to keep an eye out for the "lucky charms".

Members of the South Tyrolean amateur astronomers "Max Valier" will also be there, with telescopes and interesting stories to tell about the night sky.
