Defined as ‘one of the 25 most influential jazz artists of his generation’ by DownBeat, the Carambolage finally has the pleasure of hosting multi-talented bassist Luke Stewart. Luke has truly been a creative catalyst on the American scene for almost two decades.
His SILT TRIO with Chicago drum legend Chad Taylor and Washington D.C. saxophonist Brian Settles is an oceanic experiment in creativity.
A loose and flexible triumvirate that plays with the conversational ease of long-standing friends at ease. Free of any particular stylistic conventions, the trio's sound develops with the contours of a continuous narrative.
