On the Day of Nostalgia at Watles, professional Telemark race skiers gather with nature lovers and traditionalists from around the region to ski and celebrate together with assorted revellers. The real skiers dress in Luis Trenker-style garb, with woollen caps, Norwegian sweaters and utilizing Sarner (1970's) ski sticks, while the women dress in frocks.
