This October again, skiers dust off their dirndl and lederhosen and enjoy mugs of beer at the Stubai Glacier Ski Oktoberfest, a long-standing tradition that kicks-off the glacier ski resort season.
Mark your calendars for October 26 and 27, 2024 for the weekend-long, Bavarian style celebration with authentic music, dancing, food and beer. The Stubai Glacier Ski Oktoberfest marks the opening of the 2024-2025 ski season, so a grand celebration is in order at an elevation of 2,900 meters above sea level! In addition to eating and drinking Bavarian treats, the weekend features wonderful skiing and riding. The festival is staged in the beautiful setting of Eisgrat Top Terminal, complete with live music, traditional costume contests, beer tasting and nostalgia skiing. Festivities begin at 11:30am on both days.
