The event will take place in two parts
At 6 p.m. - the artist will present his book ‘Il Corpo Nero’ (The Black Body), an autobiography that is at the same time the story of the so-called ‘second generations’;
over a million girls and boys caught between a culture, the Italian culture, that does not accept them, and the culture of their parents, to which they feel they do not fully belong.
In dialogue with the author will be Marina della Rocca, activist, trainer and researcher in the field of gender violence.
At 8.30 p.m. - Karima 2G will entertain the Semirurali audience with her music.
Two very different languages, literature and music, that can be used in harmony to raise public awareness on the themes of racism, stereotypes and sexism
