51 species of sharks have been recorded in the Mediterranean Sea. The speaker will illustrate the main morphological, biological and ethological characteristics of each one, and then talk about the problems related to the conservation of these animals in the area under consideration.
Shark expert Alessandro De Maddalena is a researcher, former Professor of Vertebrate Zoology, lecturer, writer, illustrator and photographer.
