Esteemed BADIAMUSICA Festival Visitors!
In Boccaccio's Decameron, storytelling is presented as an effective way to survive in a time of profound social crisis and as an antidote to the fear of death. As such can 'musical stories' be an effective resource to overcome the vagaries of an uncertain and oppressing present. Questions about universal connections and perspectives arise more urgently today than ever before. The human race is not omnipotent, does not know everything and cannot control everything around him. All of that makes it really necessary to interrupt normality and change habits by trying to listen to nature, to enter into a sensitive dialogue with it, for example with a 'pine tree'. We believe in the immortality of art and music, which can open up new spaces of thought and life for us.
