Try Your Hand at Milking

Fancy trying your hand at milking cows? Come to the farm in Pera, just a stone's throw from the village!

When the cows go moo! At the Agritur Agua Biencia in Pera, enjoy an authentic experience accompanied by the owners Claudia and Silvano. You can watch and even try milking their Grey Alpine cows. Their milk is used to make fresh and mature cheeses, butter, cream and the original Alp-yogurt – all genuine products that you can buy and enjoy in the comfort of your own home.

The activity is free, but booking by phone is essential. It is open to children aged 3 and up and takes place from Monday to Friday at a time to be agreed, with the option of visiting the barn independently. Reaching the agritur is easy: you can get there by car, bike or on foot, following the pleasant walk along the Avisio stream that connects Pozza to Pera. In the farm shop, treat yourself to a special snack, or in the evening, book a delicious cheese fondue to round off the day in style.
