Three days dedicated to the tulip

The genus Tulipa, in the family Liliaceae, includes a group of bulbous plants that are among the most common in gardens around the world. Native to Turkey, the tulip has a name derived from the Turkish tülbend = turban; it was introduced to the West by the Austrian ambassador at the Sublime Gate of Constantinople in the 16th century.

At the Park's greenhouse, the tulip will be the star, with more than 100 varieties of different shades of color and more than 50,000 bulbs blooming in the Park's meadows.

Stories and videos, botanical historical information, workshops and cultivation notes will enliven the days.

SPAZI COLTi EXHIBITION.
